This is my way of protesting the artists on dA who ignore site rules and draw inappropriate images of the body, particularly the female body. This website is for good clean work, not the stuff you post that's overly sexual and pornographic. If you want to draw that, go elsewhere and take your denial with you. This site may be called deviantART, but there are rules about just how devious your art can be. Some of you are taking it too far and you know it.

To their fantards, get your hands out of your pants and grab a brain instead. deviantART is not for your pornographic pleasure, that's what porn sites are for, so go find one.

This is my personal opinion, it does not reflect anything else.

Agreed! It's just a name, and most of us didn't come here to see the nasty stuff. (I certainly didn't.)
There's a mature filter for a reason, and there are rules. People are getting too lax about what's art and what isn't, and Rule 34 has gone way too far. :)
I am so glad that I'm not the only one with a rare sense of morality.

There is, but not every artist uses it as they should. And not every artists follows the rules as they should.

The only time it bugs me, is when you work your butt off on all your work and get NOTHING said to you, but the minute you draw something with a small maturity, people (sorry guys, but its mostly men) just comment wikth 'sexy' or 'hot!' or something really...well crude :XD: and when people do it just to get popularity

That's a bit too general, and too specific at the same time. :ohnoes:

The site is not for pornography, specifically certain bodily fluids, penetration or insertion of any kind (most oral insertions don't seem to count), spread/open sexual orifices, or any textual depiction of what has been mentioned above. "Good, clean work" isn't the only thing the site is meant for, and "overly sexual" is a description that varies from one's own perception.]

DeviantART is not for your [pornographic] pleasure.
[While this is true, there are different kinds of porn for different people. I assume you mean the kind that involves the uncensored {female} body. Just sayin'. :)]

For the most part, I agree with you, but with some small arguments.

First point - I'm confused on that. Too general & too specific at the same time? :XD: Didn't know that was possible. ^^;

Second point - fair enough!

Third point - I mean any kind of porn in general, but I suppose I am more opposed to porn of females since I'm a straight one, it grosses me out cuz vaginas are SCARY. Hehe.

That is to say, "inappropriate images" is too general as for the term "inappropriate", and "particularly the female body" is too specific. Yes, such images are more common of the female body, but for the lack of options, the images of males could be just as bad.

I'm glad you see my point. :)

And I guess we naturally disagree there, being that I'm a guy and only find vaginas scary in special cases.
